Heres the question from the lab : “From the volume and concentration of the KIO3 you used in making the five equilibrium solutions, you can calculate the initial number of moles of iodate ion originally in each mixture. From the concentration of the IO3− ions that were measured for each of the equilibrium solutions you can calculate the number of moles of that ion in those solutions, with its 12-mL volume. The difference between the original number of moles and the equilibrium number of moles must be the number of moles of iodate ion in the precipitate at the bottom of the tube.” How do I calculate the initial number of moles as well as the number of moles in the equilibrium solutions? Attached is an image of all of the volumes and concentrations of the reagents. Thanks!
